The letter S podcast is a podcast that is geared towards children who have lost parents at a young age- although this is the intended audience- if you are not one of these people please listen anyway! it can and will really help everyone. Throughout these podcasts there will be interviews with people lost parents when they were young and now are a little bit older and coming to talk about their story and what helped them during these times. These podcasts episodes will be beautiful and sad at the same time. They can lift you up and weigh you down. The people on this podcast are very special and worth listening to.

Anina Jasper-Brody

Anina Jasper-Brody is 18 years old and a senior at SAR High School. She attended SAR Academy prior and is planning on spending a year at Midreshet Harova next year, and then Stern College for Women. She enjoys anything that relates to spirit, hanging out with friends, music and baking. Anina has one twin brother (Raphy) who will also be featured on this podcast. Anina is the creator of the podcast the letter S and will also share her own story with loss. She is most looking forward to being in conversation with others that has a similar tragedy while they were young. She is hoping to help others and make a difference.  

Raphael Jasper-Brody

Raphy Jasper-Brody is 18 years old and currently lives in Riverdale New York. He is a senior at SAR High school and attended SAR Academy prior. He is planning on studying at Yeshivat Torah V' Avodah this coming school year. He has one twin sister. He enjoys basketball, video games, and cooking. He is most looking forward to sharing his story on this podcast with the hopes of helping other the best that he can. 

Leah Fenster

My name is Leah Fenster and I’m 20 years old from Riverdale, NY. I am currently a junior majoring in Early Childhood Education and in the Honors Program at Stern College for Women. I went to SAR Academy and SAR High School before learning at Midreshet HaRova for one year. I spend my summers at Camp Moshava IO, and this summer G-d willing I plan to be a Rosh Eidah there. I am being interviewed for this podcast because, unfortunately, my father passed away when I was ten years old from leukemia. I look forward to sharing more about my family with you.

Joe Gross

Joe Gross is 20 years old and currently lives in Queens New York. He is originally from Teaneck New Jersey and Attended Moriah, YCQ, SAR High School (Class of 2020) Aish Gesher and is currently a student at YU. He has two biological siblings and 3 step siblings. Joe enjoys Sports, Torah, Music, food, and making connections with people. Joe is most looking forward to sharing what he can in order to help those who are having a hard time going through tragedy  on this podcast.

Abby Finkelstein

Abby is 21 years old and grew up in New Rochelle. She went to SAR High School and spent her gap year at Midreshet Harova. Abby is currently doing a double major in Childhood Education and Psychology at Hunter College in the hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher in the near future.Abby has spent various summers as a camp counselor at Camp Moshava and currently works as an NCSY advisor. She's really looking forward to sharing her story on this podcast and also to learning about the stories of others who have endured similar experiences
